Who Am I?

Originally from Southern Indiana, (born in Evansville, grew up in Newburgh,) I now reside in Greensboro, North Carolina. I’m exceedingly proud of my daughters, Mackenzie (a junior at Salem College) and Allyson and Hayley, (juniors in high school.) They’re lovely and wacky and smart and basically my favorite people on earth.

If I had to describe myself . . . I’d say upbeat, highly imaginative, passionate, restless, easily bored, (sometimes) humorous, stubborn, spiritual and truly blessed.

I love writing. I love getting caught up in another time and place. Honestly – it’s often a disappointment to have to return to reality. My favorite genre tends to be whatever I’m working on at the moment. As you can see, I write suspense, thrillers, historical romance and more. Most everything I write has an element of romance to it (probably because there’s not enough in my life,) some action/adventure (because it’s fun) and a paranormal aspect to it, (because it’s a big part of my belief system.) If you read Pedestals – the key story is mine. I made it the character’s story, but changed very little otherwise. If you didn’t read it, suffice to say I’ve seen the ‘impossible’ happen, proving to me that there is no such thing. That spiritual awareness has been one of the three main blessings of my life. (The others are my imagination and my daughters.)

I think that’s it. You now know a great deal more about me that you probably ever wanted to. ? But if you want to know more, read my stuff. I’m in every page.
